We are a bunch of John's friends who, along with his family, are collaborating to raise funds for John following an accident that severely damaged his spinal cord.
John will need 24/7 Care for an indefinite period. when he returns home. 👍
John Mooney suffered a spinal cord injury following a fall on ice. John is in a rehab facility in Houston and will shortly be able to go home. Since his accident in February John was in intensive care for three weeks before being transferred to TIRR, Herman Memorial Hospital where he is now. Funds are being raised to support John manage his new challenges and make his life as a recovering quadriplegic as comfortable as possible.
When the Going Gets Tough, The Tough get Going
During John's Recovery he will have to experience extensive Occupational and Physical Therapy, some of which will be an extreme challenge. John has both the character and drive to tough it out but he will need support in many forms.
Donations will assist with the 24/7 care that John will require.

When possible meeting up with John will just make his day.

How are Donations Managed **
All Donations to and Disbursements from the John Mooney Recovery Fund will be made via HeroPlan.Org a Private Foundation managed by Williams, Jarrett, Smith & Co., P.C., a CPA firm based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The foundation is a 501(c)(3) charity as defined in the Internal Revenue Code and Williams, Jarrett, Smith & Co., P.C. will distribute contribution letters to donors which may be used to claim tax deductions by US tax residents.
